Last leg for Day One

After a great lunch at Dorothy's I had just 18 miles to go to Fairplay where I plan to spend the night. Amazingly the wind had calmed and the temperature came up a bit. When I got to Dorothy's it was very windy, cold and raining. I had a nice Tamale diner, a soda and candy bar but there was no hot coffee that I really wanted. In Fairplay I stayed in a very nice B&B called the Hand Hotel recommended by my girlfriend Julie.
