The Top of Pass Two

I made it to the top of 9500ft Wilkerson Pass. It was a long gradual climb with narrow shoulders and sections of one lane roads due to construction. The weather held out but the wind picked up and made for a tough ride across South Park. Yes South Park as in the TV cartoon. It's about a 20 mile ride across the park, which is wide open with zero cover from the elements. This was one section of the trip I was not looking forward to. And yes the wind blew and at a 45 degree angle so as to push me into traffic and slow me down. A long ride across that high mountain desert, but what keep me going was Dorothy's Tamale Cafe at the other end.
